ABOUT
Filip Kucharski is a Polish percussionist and drummer, who graduated from the Poznan Academy of Music in 2019. During his studies, he has been working part-time as a percussionist at the Grand Theatre in Poznan, performing both tutti and solo parts.
Since 2012, he was a member of the Sinfonietta Polonia orchestra for 5 years, in which for some time he was also the principal percussionist. In addition, Filip cooperated with the Poznan Philharmonic, the Chamber Orchestra of Polish Radio Amadeus and the Collegium F orchestra, to name just a few.
Apart from orchestra playing, Filip constantly participates
in many cultural events, performing with famous Polish musicians, such as Zbigniew Górny, Artur Banaszkiewicz, Tadeusz Żmijewski and the blues band Dżem. Mainly, however, he can be seen in his band Fink Tree, in which, in addition to playing drums and other percussion instruments (e.g. cajon),
he also deals with keyboard instruments and composition.
Taking part in over 100 concerts a year, Filip passionately expands his skills at music workshops and festivals, for example in Greece, Italy, the Netherlands or South Africa. He also completed a bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting at the Poznan University of Economics and Business and remains active in both professions.
